Location: Cincinnati, OH

  • Opened in 1912 as Redland field, and renamed Crosley field after owner Powel Crosley Jr.
  • Designed by Harry Hank Sr. it was one of the early steel and concrete ball park constructed in the country
  • Home of the Cincinnati Reds
  • Original seating capacity 25,000 and increased to 30,000 in 1959
  • Last Reds game played in stadium was in 1970
  • Other occupants:
    Negro League Cincinnati Tigers played there in 1936 and 1937
    Cincinnati Bengals played home games there in 1937
  • Demolished in 1972
