Ebbets Field
Location: Brooklyn, New York
- Opened in 1913 and named after the owner of the Dodgers, Charles Ebbets
- Designed by Clarence Randall Van Buskirk
- Original seating capacity was 18,000 increasing to a high of 35,000 in 1937
- Home of the Brooklyn Dodgers
- The owners of the Dodgers attempted to secure property in Brooklyn to build a new domed stadium, but was not able to secure the rights to do so. They were offered property in Queens, but wanted to stay in Brooklyn.
- Dodgers moved to Los Angeles after the 1957 season
- Ebbets Field was demolished in 1960
